I think the book was okay. Definitely a better choice than last year's dog book. I did in fact finish the entire book, (even though I skimmed a little). A suggestion for next year would to have a poll go around where each student could vote. This may reduce complaining.
I was excited about this years book choice. I am an avid fan of all sporting events, even the Tour de france so I knew quite a bit about Lance. I am also a cancer survivor so this book hit home for me. I am proud of how the student body at Norton high is supporting Mr. Taylor and donating to the Livestrong foundation. That is a charity that is close to my heart.
